Sirens Call
As a Siren, you are:
- working on being comfortable with you
- realize that to be all your potential allows you to be means being integrated physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in a way that suits YOU
- understand that there is more than one approach, one outcome, one focus
- realize that it is all YOU, not Sybir, not someone else...who can effect change and success in your life
- comfortable with the fact that no one is perfect, we are all on the same path, just trying to learn
If your willing...this is not for the faint of heart. You get 30 minutes (give or take) at any time to bitch, whine, moan or complain...after that, the question becomes, fine...what are YOU going to do about it? The Sirens are not a support group. We are not here to comfort and console. We are here to challenge, to question, to effect change, to provide, to nurture, to set the world on edge...and yes, be there when the world feels like it's falling apart...until we can kick your butt back into gear!
We are, in effect, evolving beyond what we were taught and told we could be...and learning to play along the way! It can't be ALL serious!

Movement into a New Season
Back to School
It's that time of year again! Traffic backs up. The kids are back in school and back to being shuttled around to all the different activities we've enrolled them in.
But you want a hint on the best way to make it ALL more manageable? I'll give you a hint...you.
This issue is dedicated to falling forward, falling into a lifestyle of health, balance and well being for the entire family. Life starts with taking care of you, so you can in turn, take care of everyone else around you.
It means taking the time to plan out what meals you want to eat, what you want to feed the kids, the spouse, the mother, the father or anyone inbetween who happens to stop by. It means figuring out ahead of time and putting physical activity into your week and on your calendar. It means enjoying the bone weary exhaustion of a good work out, OR the revelational high from your workout. I promise, once you get your body used to moving...you will stay moving.
So, come on in and peruse the articles, blogs, recipes and whatever else you can find this time!

The Best Cardio
I'm often asked what is the BEST cardio to be doing. Answer: The one that you're going to do. *wink* Honestly, it depends on your goal. Fat loss? I get the best results from doing wind sprints.
